of our students are awarded full or partial scholarships by national governments, regional authorities, private actors, or by the College of Europe itself thanks to the support of European Institutions.
For all scholarships mentioned on our website, candidates should submit an online application, indicating that they apply for these scholarships on the application form.
Scholarships are awarded according to the final ranking of the candidates. Preselected candidates will be informed about the scholarship decisions as soon as possible after the selection interviews have taken place.

European Neighbourhood Policy scholarships

for EU Citizens

Beneficiaries
  • Candidates from EU Member States
  • Graduates interested in the European Neighbourhood Policy
Eligibility
  • Determined on the basis of the application dossier, motivation letter and merit. Beneficiaries of this scholarship scheme will have to write their Master’s thesis on a topic related to the European Neighbourhood Policy.

European Neighbourhood Policy scholarships

for ENP Countries Citizens

Beneficiaries
  • Candidates from Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, and Ukraine
Eligibility
  • Determined on the basis of citizenship and merit

European History and Civilisation scholarships

for All Nationalities

Beneficiaries
  • Candidates from all nationalities
  • Graduates in history and related disciplines
Eligibility
  • Determined on the basis of the application dossier, motivation letter and merit. Beneficiaries of this scholarship scheme will have to write their Master’s thesis on a topic related to recent European history or to European civilization.

Journalism and Media scholarships

for All Nationalities

Beneficiaries
  • Candidates from all nationalities
  • Graduates with a background or clear interest in journalism and media
Eligibility
  • Determined on the basis of the application dossier, motivation and merit. Beneficiaries of this scholarship scheme will have to write their Master’s thesis on a topic related to Journalism and Media.
